Every month Fantastic Friends hosts a fun social event for our members with special needs and volunteers. Members are always paired with a 1:1 volunteer at each event, who help them interact with other Fantastic Friends and participate in the event’s activities. Events are always fun and creative, and provide a variety of social and learning experiences for those with special needs.

What makes us stand out from other special needs groups?

Our chapter are led by NT peers and our events are planned by neuro-typical peers for special needs peers. Chapters are set up by geographical location, and each chapter has members and volunteers from several surrounding regions.

The Fantastic Friends morale: Our volunteers have the warmest hearts and are encouraging, supportive, and incredibly friendly to all of our special needs members! Anyone who comes to Fantastic Friends can shine bright and be who they really are without worry of judgement. Anything flies with us!! As much as we are different, we are all similar and want the same thing in life. Bringing everyone together to celebrate what makes us unique is the number one impact we make.

What does it feel like to be in Fantastic Friends?

It feels like a giant family. Every Fantastic Friends is extremely accepting, caring, and happy to be part of the best organization in the world. Everyone are friends with each other!
